James Hansen is the leader of Strong Towns Langley, working to foster relationships with likeminded members of the community, along with with councillors, mayors, and staff to advance the mission of Strong Towns. Using his background in software development, he has developed advocacy tools and has an analytical approach to policy, while taking a creative approach when producing content and promoting the group on social media. He hopes to see Langley evolve into a more connected and resilient community through collaborative efforts and innovative solutions.

He has been particularly focused on promoting walkable neighborhoods, safer streets, and his ability to see things from another perspective and closely following council meetings and agendas has made him a vital part of our group.

Greens MLA candidate, she champions evidence-based policies for a fair economy and healthy community. Cheryl's contributions to Strong Towns Langley include voice-over work, innovative campaign ideas, and significant volunteer efforts. Her advocacy extends to organizing supportive housing projects, pushing for climate emergency declarations, and setting science-based emissions targets, showcasing her commitment to creating a promising future for all residents.

With a background in video production from the Toronto Film School and a degree in Business Administration from the Royal Military College of Canada, Mitchell leverages his expertise to create compelling content for the group. His award-winning film production skills have been instrumental in producing impactful videos that support our advocacy and community engagement in Langley and the surrounding areas.
