Campaign Manager
About This Role
Head up targeted and specific campaigns for Strong Towns Langley. This is a complex and demanding role, but you will be granted full autonomy to lead a campaign with our support. Begin with one-on-one virtual training sessions with our board leadership to learn more about the specific issues facing Langley from a Strong Towns perspective.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive campaign strategies and timelines
- Lead specific advocacy campaigns from conception to completion
- Coordinate with volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders
- Manage campaign budgets and resources
- Organize events, meetings, and public actions
- Communicate with media and government officials
- Monitor campaign progress and adjust strategies as needed
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills
- Experience with advocacy, campaigns, or community organizing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Understanding of local government processes (preferred)
- Commitment to Strong Towns principles and values
Time Commitment
5-10 hours per week during active campaigns
