Yes. Strong Towns Langley is a registered non-profit society in British Columbia (legal name Langley Urbanist Society, incorporation number S0081939). We're volunteer-run and part of the Strong Towns local conversation. Read more about the society.
How is membership different from the newsletter?
The newsletter is free and keeps you in the loop. Membership is $10 a year and makes you an official member of the society, with a vote at the AGM and a say in what we take on. You can do one, the other or both.
Can I donate instead of becoming a member?
Absolutely. Donations of any amount help with counters, events and research, though they don't come with a vote. Make a donation here.
How do I renew my membership?
Memberships run for a year. Renew through the same Zeffy page you joined on, and your membership stays active as long as your dues are current.
Where do you meet?
We don't have an office. We get together in person for Jane's Walks, bike rides, clean-ups and community events around Langley, and keep the conversation going on WhatsApp in between. See what's coming up.
